Depreciation, damage, malfunction caused by normal wear, lack of reasonable and proper
maintenance, improper servicing, failure to follow operating instructions, misuse, lack of proper protection during storage
Depreciation or damage caused by accident
Equipment that has been altered or modified in ways not approved by UHI, including, but not limited to, setting injection fuel delivery pump higher or lower than UHI specification
Failure to use the proper fuel, lubricants, or other maintenance items as described in the operator’s manual
Addition or replacement of chemical weight materials
Regular maintenance services such as:
adjustments (cables, linkages, pressures, etc),
Transportation charges. However, on machines purchased within 30 days or 30 working hours, UHI will subsidize travel costs for warranty repairs on the units, up to a maximum of 200 km ($300) one-way, or 400 km ($600) round trip.
Damage resulting from a natural calamity beyond human control such as fire, flood, etc.
Replacement of regular maintenance items such as light bulbs, pre-heater elements, filter
elements, injector nozzle assembly, clutch disc/pressure plate/release bearings, brakes/parking brakes lining, oil and lubricants, coolants, belts, drive chains, rubber, resin, broken glass, cutting blades, bucket cutting edge and teeth, etc.
Damage resulting from the use of unapproved implements and accessories
Rust and paint issues are not included in the warranty
Repairs defined in a service bulletin past the warranty terms of the product or bulletin
Repairs to any unit that has been reported stolen or damaged and considered a total loss.
